I am a big jazz-dance fan. Since I was a little girl, I haven't been able to sit still when the music's on.

When I was 16 years old, I discovered jazzdance. Beginning at this age it was too late for me to become so good to be a professional dancer. But I did my best and reached such a level that I could learn to become a teacher. After a two year course I got my diploma!

Since June 1998 until January 2001, I was a teacher at a sportsclub near my past residence. I lead two groups of girls: 8-10 years and 10-14 years old, every friday evening. Until june 2001, I also worked for a sportcentre for students of my University, and had two groups every wednesday evening.

In march 2002, I joined a local dance studio, Jazzdansstudio Jacquelien, in Enschede. The studio teaches all kinds of dance for all ages and all levels. Every year, the studio owner, and my teacher and friend Jacqueline, organises a big theatre show involving all her groups. It is alternatily a children's show and a show with all the participants 15 ears and older. This year we had a very nice "grown-ups" show. I will try to put a small videoclip of it on the net.

From september 2001 until june 2003, I tought also at the studio and I lead three groups of children aged 4, 5 years and 6,7 years. Here you can see some pictures from the class. The grown-up person in the pictures is me.
